This week was pretty good. I went on an exchange to Brighton, which has the reputation as being a hub for gay people, and I did see a few pink buildings, so that was weird. But I was on exchange with someone from Holland named Elder Van der Put, and he's only been out for about 9 weeks but he's a pretty funny kid. He's quite tall, I think he was in a picture a few weeks back. He'll be the tall one. :P But anyways, that was interesting, and that's where I saw that gingerbread man thing.
But other than that, this week hasn't been too eventful. All the people we find and talk to are never there for the appointments we set up, and they don't answer their phones when we call either. So maybe we're just unlikeable people, us missionaries! Oh well, hopefully we'll find someone who is willing to be open and even just listen and realize that it's actually an important and special thing that we're trying to tell them.
Speaking of people like that, one actually came to church yesterday with her member friend! She lives in Cornwall (which is quite a distance from here.), but she was really nice and just a very pleasant person who was willing to learn! So I guess there are people like that, they just live in far away lands, haha. Oh well, the missionaries there will have someone to work with hopefully. :)
I'm doing good in this ward, all the people are nice. So I'm doing good, I'm just wanting something exciting to happen. So I suppose I should get to work on making it happen! :D
I love you guys, bye!
